Dear Parents,
Hopefully you are enjoying some time with your young ones this week. If the wind calms down, maybe there will be kite flying?!?
Curriculum Update
When we return from spring break, we will begin our study of human anatomy, beginning with the muscular and skeletal systems. We will have a special visitor, Bartholemew Bones, to help us learn the skeletal system. Bartholemew is a life-size skeleton that belongs to a friend of mine. He has visited Bromley before, and the children have been intrigued.
In preparation for our trip to the zoo is April 14th, we will review classification of vertebrates (fish, amphibian, reptiles, birds and mammals) . Beginning the third week in April, we will begin our study of invertebrate animals.
In Geography we continue to learn about biomes. The week of April 4th we will focus on prairies.
